These Terms and Conditions apply to appointments, services and website use associated with Aesthetics by S.M, operated by Registered Nurse Sam McCreath in Braddon, ACT.
By booking an appointment, purchasing a gift voucher or using this website, you agree to the following terms.
Consultations and Suitability
All new patients must complete an appropriate consultation and clinical assessment before any treatment recommendation is made.
During your consultation, you must provide accurate and complete information about your medical history, medications, allergies, previous procedures and any other information relevant to your care.
Not every patient will be suitable for every treatment. Recommendations are made following an individual clinical assessment and may change if your health, circumstances or treatment needs change.
A consultation does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be recommended or provided.
Bookings and Deposits
Appointments can be booked through the Aesthetics by S.M online booking system or by contacting the clinic directly.
A deposit may be required to secure your appointment. Where a deposit is collected, it will be applied to the total cost of your appointment or treatment.
Your booking is not confirmed until any required deposit has been received and you have received a booking confirmation.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the loss of your deposit or a cancellation fee. Failure to attend an appointment without notice may also result in the loss of your deposit.
Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may require full or partial prepayment before future appointments can be confirmed.
Aesthetics by S.M understands that unexpected circumstances can occur. Any exception to the cancellation policy is at the clinic’s discretion and will be considered individually.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment.
If you arrive late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled to avoid affecting other patients. The original appointment fee or cancellation policy may still apply.
Payments
Payment is required at the time your appointment or treatment is provided unless another arrangement has been agreed to in advance.
Aesthetics by S.M accepts the payment methods displayed during booking or available at the clinic.
Prices may change without notice. Any applicable cost will be explained before treatment proceeds.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are subject to the terms shown at the time of purchase and any applicable requirements under Australian Consumer Law.
Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law. They must be presented or identified when making a booking and may not cover the entire cost of an appointment or treatment.
Clinical suitability requirements continue to apply when a gift voucher is used. Purchasing or receiving a voucher does not guarantee that a particular treatment will be suitable.
Treatment Outcomes and Risks
Individual responses, recovery experiences and outcomes vary.
Information about expected outcomes, limitations, potential risks, possible complications and aftercare requirements will be discussed as part of the consultation and informed-consent process.
No specific outcome can be guaranteed. Images, examples and general information displayed on this website should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another patient will experience the same outcome.
You are responsible for following the pre-treatment and aftercare instructions provided to you and for contacting the clinic if you experience an unexpected concern.
Reviews and Follow-Up Care
Where clinically appropriate, a review appointment may be recommended.
Review timeframes vary depending on the treatment and your individual circumstances. Contact the clinic if you have concerns following an appointment rather than waiting for a scheduled review.
For urgent or severe symptoms, contact emergency services or seek appropriate medical care.
